How it Works
Hola Skoko Football Academy as the name suggests is a center for excellence in football. We strive at achieving the best for our players by ensuring coaches are minimum Safa Level D accredited. This plays a major role as your kids are given the correct tools and techniques to excel especially from a grassroots level.
We believe that if the base is strong, the player will excel in all forms of the game and will have a much better understanding of football once he moves up into the more developed age groups.
We place huge emphasis on grassroots development as we feel that this is where the country as a whole is lacking and we would like to change this one player at a time.
The academy provides a platform for players to learn and grow in a footballing sense. We are happy to welcome all players whether just beginning or players seeking to develop skills and abilities already acquired. We think of ourselves as a school for football development from a grassroots level in which players from all backgrounds are welcome.
Video footage is also analysed in order for us to hone in on player strengths and weaknesses. Videos are also taken during training sessions in order to provide players with exposure as many players are exceptional but are never seen and hence become wasted talent. We, at Hola Skoko Football Academy want to get players noticed on a world wide platform.
From the under 12 -23 category we push for trials at the more established clubs both local and abroad. We also arrange friendlies between other clubs and academies so coaches can assess players on their factors of performance in game situation.
We strive for excellence and not mediocrity and we believe this attitude is what puts us a stride above the rest. We are working towards becoming the number 1 feeder of amateur players into professional clubs in the country.

Football Institutions
This is where the exposure element of the academy comes into play. Players videos will be uploaded and displayed for all football institutions to view and decisions will then be made.
The Future
Academies and trials together form the spring board in propelling potential footballers to the top. Once trial dates are set, the players will go and trial at the respective clubs and hopefully be selected. The academies that Hola Skoko Football Academy is looking to send players for trials to are the likes of Sundowns, Ajax Cape Town, Maccabi SA, Supersport, Augusto Palacios Apprentice Academy and Bidvest Wits to name just a few. We also are working with international clubs to send players who are really excelling overseas.
The Trial
It must be understood that these trials are not guaranteed but the academy serves as a platform to ensure maximum exposure to our academy players. These videos will be on view for scouts to understand the basic skill level of an individual. Once the scout bites we will then come in and discussions will take place and a date will be set for a trial.
Once the footballer realizes the date of the trial the academy will ensure all is done to prepare the footballer both from a mental and physical point of view. On the trial day it is all up to the individual to make both himself and the academy proud.
